Alternatives for Area Youth is an organization that works to provide activities for youth in our community, in a supervised environment, through the Teen Center. Our Board is committed to our mission of providing low or no cost activities to the youth in our community in a safe and drug, alcohol, and smoke free environment.

Choices assists victims of domestic violence by providing support services, peer and professional counseling, emergency shelter, support group and advocacy services. The sixteen-bed emergency shelter and the crisis line are available around the clock.

The ARC is a volunteer advocacy organization which strives to improve the quality of life for the developmentally disabled children and adults in our community. We do this by providing social activities such as the prom, family gatherings, holiday parties, picnics and summer camp which also provides some respite time for families. We purchase special equipment for children when families need financial assistance.

There are over 1.8 million runaway and homeless youth in the United States. Staircase provides 24-hour access crisis intervention, assessments, referral, counseling, case management, community education and housing placements to youth and families that find themselves faced with this situation. The goal is to strengthen families.
